Oh, I wasn't wanting to debate :) And, was not suggesting you are wrong, just that I thought I had the opposite experience.

Sorry.... I was not trying to debate just stating that lenses can vary copy to copy in terms of sharpness but barrel distortion appears and should be consistent between all copies of the same lens.


Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.
