I'm looking for a bag that will carry my 40d, a couple of lenses, accessories and a 10" netbook. Most backpacks are set up for a 15.4" laptop, but i'm looking for something smaller. Any recomendations

The Think Tank Urban Disguise 35 will handle that perfectly!
Not sure if you are looking for a backpack here, the UD35 is a shoulder bag. It can be converted into a form of backpack with the TT shoulder harness.

you might want to be more specific if you're looking for shoulder or backpack

classified 160 is a strong candidate, have a search on this forum.
kata sensitivity will do well if you want backpack style (i got one myself)

netbooks are fairly easy to slip in, even in bags which is not design to accommodate one

- i like taking pictures but not showing it to anyone - go figure :)

yep, any of my bags -- domkes F-1X, F-802 and think tank airport antidote -- will easily fit my 10" netbook.

+1 on the Think Tank35. Works perfectly and you can still fit a gripped camera with up to a 400mm 5.6 lens attached.

I can't decide myself, I also have 12" netbook with my gear and can't decide between CompuRover AW, CompuDaypack, DR-467i, or Adventure 9...

I got the Kata 465, but the 467 will fit a small laptop easily and is very comfortable. I just bought the Tenba messenger bad and I love it. It's just like the F-802, but has the padded spot for the 13 inch notebook I have, if a shoulder bag is what you want. The Tenba is what I will use for work also, the insert comes out in case i just need files and books.
