ABT Electronics

I have ordered from ABT Electronics for years (www.abt.com) but, interestingly, never anything electronic (large sizes of Persil detgergent & Vernel fabric softener, LOL, which they sell because they are Meile dealers). Anyway, it just occurred to me to consider them as a source for electronics. Has anyone had any experience with them in this area? I typically order from newegg or B&H but these folks have been very reliable for me in other areas and I was wondering about giving them a chance.

ABT is in Glenview, IL about a mile from my house. It's a pretty prestigious looking place where rich people drive their Lamborghinis to spend $80K on home theater systems. So you don't have to worry about it being some illigit online store. My friend told me about a guy who walked in and tried to spend $30K cash, not knowing you're not allowed to spend more than $10K cash at any store without government paperwork. He might not have good things to say about Abt anymore. Abt layed off a whole bunch of male employees including him and decided to keep their good looking female employees. I guess you'd be missing out on that if you're ordering from online.

Had nothing but good luck with them, but then again, I have not ordered any electronics from them. I've been pleased with them.
