Canon 17-40 f/4 - 9.0
Canon 85 f/1.8 - 9.4
Canon 100 f/2.8 - 9.6
Canon 135 f/2 - 9.9
Canon 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 - 7.8
Canon 70-200 f/4 IS - 9.7
Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 - 9.1

That's a 9.3 ... even with the 28-135, but I love having that lens around for my IDGAS lens.

Hmmm, okay...

Nifty = 9
Canon 28-300mm IS L = 9.1
Sigma 150-500mm OS = 8.5
Sigma 180mm f/3.5 Macro = 9.1
Sigma 18-200mm OS = 8

Average = 8.74

Thankfully, I don't pay too much attention to what other people say. I go by my own experience. Otherwise I might think my Bigmos was a piece of junk. Although I am surprised that the 28-300mm L got a 9.1, since not a lot of people give it any credit.

Canon 28 f/1.8 - 8.3
Sigma 50 f/1.4 - 8.7
Canon 100 f/2 - 9.1
- 8.7

Interesting how these primes aren't rated as high as a lot of zooms. Higher standards?

I'm thinking this thread just further reinforces what we already knew to be true about POTN participants:

- Well Educated On Gear
- Know the Benefit of Good Glass
- Are Well Above Average Vs John Q Public's usual kit

Interesting to see what folks have in the bag.

Agreed. Especially among those who enjoy trolling the EF and EF-S Lenses section.

Well, actually, if someone had an 18-55 IS and 55-250 (and 50/1.8 II), they'd have an 8.6. 0.1 points short of my three $400 primes ($4-500 is the price of those three), and not exactly an unusual or uncommon kit.
