He dressed up as a workman, threw a few cones to stop people getting where he is, and in the vision of the camera??!

Nicely done!! Must have been taken nice and early during peak summertime when the sun is rising :)

Thanks all for you comments

These were taken last weekend on a trip with my wife, the first 3 were taken on the Saturday morning and as you can see Big Ben is showing 6.30am and the second 2 on the Sunday a little later at about 7 am I think.

As you can see by the shots what a differnce London is without the crowds

I don't think it would be that empty at those times on any other day of the week. Seems very eirie in areas I am used to seeing hundreds of people and vehicles moving around!
