Hi i am going to disney next week and would like some thoughts on what to take. I would like to travel as light as i can.

This might be my mom's last trip to disney, she was just diagnosed with lung cancer, so these photos are very important to me.

my current set up is
canon xs
canon 24-105L
canon 18-55
canon 55-250
canon 50mm 1.8
canon 28-105 II(my brothers)

also, has anyone just taken the 24-105L to disney?
thanks for any thoughts

I think the 24-105 would be a great one lens solution. There may be a few situations where its not quite wide enough, but you can always take a few steps back and be fine. The "IS" will be nice once it gets a little darker. I find that on trips such as the one you are planning, its a pain to switch lenses because photography is not the main purpose of the trip. You could always take the 55-250 along as well. It's pretty light.

24-105 for general purpose and 55-250 when you want the extra reach to take a head shot of your mom with mickey mouse. Sorry to hear that Becky and enjoy the trip with your family!
