the first couple shots are absolute stunning!!
the bird seems (assuming it's the same bird) aware of your presence.

Lens was covered with lens coat camo but I guess the short eared owl might have spotted me nevertheless

Holy cow..I wonder how much that lens is worth?

I really need to get a 1D body. Hope the rumors on the Mark IV next month will be true.
