around xmas every year i print 30 or so wall calendars 8.5" x 11" for friends, family and customers.

i've been having them made by fototime which does a great job and each calendar costs me $17 plus shipping but i don't get a bulk deal.

anyone know where there's a better deal?

thanx,

The FedEx man just dropped off 50 9x12 calendars from this place:
http://www.copycraft.com/calendar-printing (external link)

The printing is very good. I would have liked a little heavier stock for the covers, but overall I'm satisfied. Ask for samples and see if it passes your muster. I dealt with Terrance, and he sent a 20% off coupon with the samples, so the final cost was about $7. or so including shipping.

Lulu.com allows you to design calendars. Their print quality and paper quality are great. 11 x 17 inch 12 month calendar is $12.72. Quantity discount starts at 5 calendars - $10.42, at 100 calendars, price drops to $8.92. Plus s/h, of course. Cool thing with lulu is there is no minimum quantity - they print on demand, so one-off's are fine with them.

thank you. i will also check them out. the price is good. i'm also looking for easy set-up. i don't need alot of options especially if they complicate the process.

thanx again :D!

i just got the samples and i'm not real impressed. the fototime calendars are on heavier stock and are much easier to set up....but of course the fototime calendars cost twice as much too.

i'm not ruling these out yet but i'm going to see if i can get a bulk discount from fototime and i'm also going to order a calendar from lulu to check quality.

with fototime and lulu there's no software to download or templates, and i like that much better because really it's just a calendar :D.

i'll report back when i get more news in case anyone's interested.

cool. i'll let you know what happens. fototime has switched labs so they're letting me order one calendar on them to see how i like it as well as give them a review since they've seen my calendars before.

if their calendars pass muster they'll work with me on a bulk price. i'm going to also order a few calendars from lulu.com.

Act fast, RedBubble calendars are 15% off and if you order 10+ you get free shipping. I ordered one as a sample a while back and was quite happy for the price. Considering the only other place I have found with the same layout is Photobox but their calendars are about 30-40% more expensive plus you have the exchange rate and VAT to deal with if you live in the US.
Most of my landscape photos are in portrait so this doesn't really work for normal calendars.

I had a 50% off coupon from VistaPrint and ordered 20 calendars, came to about $7.80 ea. on upgraded stock with shipping. They were shipped yesterday, I'm anxious to see how they came out, I'll post the results.

i like the easy-to-use templates. that's my kind of service. at 50% off i would be very interested in your review. have you ever had a calendar made by fototime?

also, i don't see a coupon for 50% off.
