I feel your pain, my daughter informed me last night when she turned on our Xbox 360, that it was flashing 3 red LEDs and she wanted to know what to do. I said get a hammer....

I have since completely ripped apart the 360 and have the motherboard in my hands right now....

So yup, I understand the initial instincts around electronics that fail!

I've been wrestling with my 5D MkII trying to understand why it has color shift on high shutter speeds/high ISO in dim lighting, and because of THAT problem had gone back to the 30D for poor lighting conditions at sporting events. Now the 30D wants to mutiny... so I've borrowed a 40D from my sister (and it will, no doubt find some reason to die in my hands as well.
sigh...

The aperture should close, not open up when you increase shutter speed.

I swear that made sense when I wrote it. Maybe I was thinking "increase shutter duration".

Is there anyone out there willing to pass along an email address so I can send examples of this camera's problem? I don't have time to figure out the forum's posting rules...

Does anyone else find it strange that someone that's been a member for 3 years and has posted to the forum 1300 times doesn't have the time to learn how to post a picture?

I don't know, sometimes I forget to take my work blackberry with me in the morning, and I know I have had it for at least 1300 days. :) (it at least seems like it)
