About me:
Always been a bit of a shutterbug, but due to student life, my first SLR wasn't until my XT in July 2008. Many lenses and lots of trades and paychecks later (as you can see below!), I've been working to getting the right gear to suit my shooting style. Done with buying and now ready to work with what I have.

In chronological order:
Canon 50 1.8 mk2
- Truly nifty! (even with all the dust and dirt I bought it with). Build quality could be lots better
Tamron 17-35
- sharp but not long enough for a walkaround lens
Tamron 28-75 2.8
- great and sharp but sold after upgrade to 17-55 2.8 IS. would get again if I upgrade to full frame
Canon 28-135 IS
- great range and first lens with IS - sold because wanted something better in lowlight
Canon 50 1.4
- fantastic and inexpensive (relatively!) - but got some L primes
Canon 24-105 f4L
- loved it but needed money at the time. will get it back someday!
Canon 10-22
- LOVED it. If I don't upgrade to full frame, I may just have to go back and get one
Canon 17-40L
- very sharp and inexpensive L ! - unless I jumped to full frame, couldn't justify keeping it because of the 17-55
Canon 400 5.6L
- Amazingly sharp and great for sports! But not practical range for my needs
Canon 100mm macro 2.8
- great lens but rarely shoot macro. more a novelty lens for me
