My lens suddenly has aperture sticking. It's stuck at f/5 and won't open up or go smaller aperture.
Took it to the THK at Huntington Beach, CA two weeks ago to get it fixed. Cost about $75 total.

Must be nice to be loaded!!! Speaking as an Englishman I find such ostentation rather gross. Good pictures though. 5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.

I use a Sigma 105 Macro lens for MX, which is not Canon fast either but might be a bit faster than the Tokina. I was just at a MX race last weekend and used it all day. It takes great shots and is fast enough to catch them in the air as seen here. These were shot from about 15-20 feet away, too far for the Tokina. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

canonloader Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Oct 14, 2009 05:44 | #400 I have only tested the Canon 10-20 for a few minutes, a couple years ago and on an older 30D. It was not as fast as a prime lens, but faster than the Tokina. However, let me explain about the tokina 12-24. When I said it's not the fastest I meant it will take a second or so to focus from minimum to maximum focus. If your shooting at the races and you pre focus to the distance your going to shoot at, the small change you will need to focus on a bike going by will be quite fast enough. I did use my Tokina at the races, but the wide angle made the bikes look too far away, which is why I used the 105. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

Ok thanks, I got a racetrack were one of the curves I can get very close about 1meter. I tested my Sigma 18-50 2,8 but with fast shutter. but I want more wide-angle not fisheye.
