Just returned from a 2 week safari in Botswana and wanted to share 2 of about 3000 pics I took. It's going to take me forever to sort them all out!! Hope you enjoy.

jg, these pics were taken in the Kalahari Game Reserve. I saw amazing animals everywhere, but unfortunately, no cheetah or rhino.

Great shots of the leopards. We saw cheetahs but no leopards last year.

Thanks to all who looked at my photos. I'd like to share a story about these 2 pics:

Our guide told us this lioness had 2 cubs, but 1 had been taken by a predator while she was out hunting.

In the first, she calls out for her lost cub, over and over. Remembering her wail gives me chills.

In the second, she nuzzles her remaining cub. The memory of this sight will be with me forever.
