85/1.8 tax from yesterday :p
QUOTED IMAGE

Straight out of camera - just resized, probably need WB adjusted.

No. I'd say keep it. It's coming out just right on my screen.
I like the colour cast.

Went out for a workshop today .....

Tutor was great and the model was a blast !!

dgcorner wrote in post #8754392 (external link)
... So, what was the most important thing you learned at the workshop?

The object of the exercise was to learn about setting on location lighting.

We had the sun, which we aimed to use as rim-lighting, my 300 w/s strobe (powered by my new eBay special inverter) which we used as our main light and my 580EX-II which we used as fill. We also had his SB-800 which we used as a hairlight.

Or various different combinations thereof........

So, basically, I now know how the pros do it, so now I've got to practice myself !!

By a combination of events, I've got another workshop on the same subject next weekend too, so hopefully I'll have a reasonably good idea what's going on after that !!!

Austen.

I just want to take nice photographs of people.

So, who is going to win the NRL final today?

Anybody going and if so are you taking your gear?

I think Glenn is. He spoke to ANZ. DSLR and a 20-700 is fine. Same deal as the SFS. Any lens under 20cm in length is acceptable.

Is that the F1.2 model or the F3.5 - 5.6? ;)

One of my favourites, of the groomsmen.

Would not have been possible without Mic's lending of flashes and PocketWizards :)
