Hiya guys,

I just shot my third football game ever on Saturday with a special treat from my employers, a 400 2.8! I always salivate at any opportunity to use this lens so I was very excited. Here are some shots I got from the game, CnC welcome:

I'm with Sam. These are all fantastic, but #3 is portfolio material imo. The reflection in the shield is what makes it happen!

Upon further deliberation I decided to remove #2 because I realized that I was a bit biased in knowing what had happened and it really wasn't that great of a shot.

Thanks for the feedback everyone :)

Very nice Alex! 3 is pretty sweet. I hate when players have visors over all though, it is already tough enough getting some eyes in football.

Great job ! Lovely shots - hopefully you don't have to follow York around too much; aren't they about 'oh-fer' this century?
Go Mustangs ! Cheers.

Fantastic Shot! The reflection in the shield adds to an already great shot. Awesome work, well done.

Haha, to be honest I really don't follow varsity sports passionately. I must admit though my job is very bizarre. Even in games when we get blown out, I'm pretty much always asked by the school to give them a photo that portrays our team in the best positive light possible. The photojournalist in me still tries to get photos that tell the story from both sides though.
