Who has the best price on the education discount? K-12 student or teacher addition since I don't have any kids in college, yet. I found http://www.academicsuperstore.com …Photoshop+Extended/933475 (external link) these guys. Any body else?

Thanks

Assuming they're reputable, they're all going to fall in about the same area +/-$10.
I'm finishing up my MFA and have have been using Studica.com & JourneyED.com for most school-related purchases.

I had 4 kids in college at the same time... now 2 undergrads, 1 working on her PhD. I always use academicsuperstore.com .

Hey guys, I'm a director of marketing at Academic Superstore; I'd certainly like to think that we're reputable!

R1200GS: Depending on which K12 school you're talking about, you could possibly get Photoshop for as low as $179.98. Try choosing your school at

http://www.academicsuperstore.com/institution/select (external link)

to see if you qualify. The process is new and a little rough, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or comments. Thanks!

Definitely!

I second that. I've ordered from them before and had great service plus a huge discount.

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but I'm a student of a proffesional photographer here locally. Would I qualify for the student discount or does he have to be an accredited academic institution?

Nice to see you on board. As an educator, I've ordered a number of products from Academic Superstore and have never had a lick of trouble.

Fantastic. Thank you

Edit: Too bad, none of the schools, my wife's or my kids qualify. Oh well. Thanks for the info anyway.

Here are the requirements from the sites I visited

Adobe Student Editions are for higher education student use only. Before the software can be installed, students must obtain a serial number by submitting proof of eligibility for this program to Adobe. If the student cannot provide proof of eligibility, the end user will not be able to use this product.
Eligibility for Student Editions
The Adobe Student Editions are for purchase by higher education (college level) students ONLY. A higher education student is defined as a full or part time student enrolled at higher education institutions defined as an accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior and vocational colleges) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full time study.

Right, it's a little complicated but there are basically 3 tiers of pricing available for Photoshop through the site:

http://www.academicsuperstore.com …Photoshop+Extended/933475 (external link)
The general academic version (all students, teachers, and schools) for 298.95

http://www.academicsuperstore.com …Photoshop+Extended/961155 (external link)
The college student version for 198.95

And the lowest discounted price for participating schools, which you can find through our school selector here:
