Well I am getting back in "bird" mode... airplanes are almost done for the year. Caught this bird last weekend. I have been lurking in the shadows as of late checking out all the great shots being put up.Its good to come back to "Birds".:)

You have no idea how much I'm chomping at the bit waiting to get out to L&D #14 this season. It's all I think about. I think we're going Jan 1-3. When are you heading out there?

Now I know Birds can't actually be Annoyed but I'll be dipped if the last frame doesn't look it...

There's a spot near me that has a few Sandhill Cranes, and they always look mad, no matter what you do. I think it's just the way God made their face.

Yes indeed thats a Whooping Crane caught this in Wisconsin

I am going north this weekend will probably see a few Sandhills hopefully get some shots of them.
