Nice shot, dkorr. Where is that at? Looks like Scripps Pier in La Jolla, but I didn't realize that much sand had been washed away from those rocks.

thanks... I like your shots too!

yes its the Scripps Pier right below the UCSD building... its was high tide that evening so I had to stand on the boat launch concrete

Typically down in Ocean Beach - I live down there right by the beach, so it's convenient. I remember going down to Scripps as a kid and there was so much sand on that beach, you never even knew there were rocks down there. It's crazy how much that beach has changed.

A lot of beautiful pictures on here. The quality of light in them is incredible. I have a lot to work on.

When we were flying back to Seattle WA from Atlanta we followed this beautiful sunset for 3 hours. Unfortunately I was not able to capture the orange/blue sky due to the limitation of the digital camera.
