timbop Goldmember ![]() More info | Oct 16, 2009 20:04 | #3 correct, auto only goes to 3200. I've used a little for video, since in manual you are still somewhat restricted the shutter speed. That is, if you use a fast shutter speed in movie mode you can get choppy results of moving subjects. I do photography coverage for parties in NYC, and with all the lights going nuts and all, it's hard to get consistent shots. Auto ISO would definitely be perfect for this, as I know I'll keep my lens wide open, I'd still want a fast shutter to keep it sharp, but don't want to have to go nuts every time with ISO to ensure I got the shot.
