Focus was sharp in servo we had an overcast day with heavy storms setting in. ISO 12500 cleaner than my MKIII at 6400

That sounds encouraging. I've seen some incredible ISO 6400 sports (football) shots from the 1D3 (and that's an extended ISO mode on the 1D3). So, if the 1D4 has improved by a stop or two, that's great. I would hope, though, that since 12,800 is considered a "native" ISO mode on the 1D4 it would be cleaner than the 1D3's extended ISO mode.

They will have stock in Australia early December just in time for christmas and with the $$$ so strong we should get a barign.

That sounds very interesting. I am moving back to Aus early Jan, so if the camera is there, at a good enough price, I'll take it.

Any good retailers to recommend, besides ddphotographics?

You finally realised.

Are you two operating as a tag-team?

Your question would have beeen quite relevant just a few posts above this one. Now, well... you should direct it towards God himself. ;)

How come every time I check in on threads like this, Guy is in the middle of a controversy and blaming everyone else for starting it? :)

Do we have a any hard delivery dates for the MKIV yet?

Find the post where I started anything, let alone name calling.

I am anxious to see some RAW files from the MKIV that are taken by POTN members. How long until we see those I wonder?

It sounds like the camera is being made available to selected professionals at Canon demo. sites around the world, but they won't be able to take image files away, so I'm guessing it will be some time before non-Canon-issued images start showing up.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Just to help you out...

...And your off-topic drifting are shown here (which, for some strange reasons) you just forgot about:

https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=8903228&postcount=379

In short: you have self-proclaimed yourself as a God... in an EOS 1D Mark IV thread (!?) I wonder what type of discussions can you really enable / support here, especially when YOU ARE NOT A CANON USER.

Instead, you are a passive aggressor with a pre-set agenda and specific goals, who seems to mostly speak about his Nikon gear... in an all-round, heavy-metal Canon forum. What exactly are you expecting?

You may want to play games (hide-and-seek) with some folks around here... but not with me. I know exactly what you are doing and why you are here, and what your goal is.

And please, don't make me refresh your rather volatile memory with more posts of yours, as well as your most recent examples of passive aggression and ad-hominem discrediting efforts. You just hit a 2m-thick concrete wall.

Love,

PIX
