Bluebottle fly suction power

Odd coloured woodlouse in the grass most of the ones I see are dark grey.

Great set - hover is certainly very plump indeed, I wonder if they eggs lay dormant over the winter when laid at this time of year.

Linda- guess that's possible but the odd thing with this one is no eggs were visible in the abdomen (as you know you can normally see them when they are this expanded).
