Fantastisk, Trond!

Stunning shot. Amazing light, composition, and the contrasts in the picture are superb.

Fantastic pano trailstar! Did you take the tram up and down? That sucker looks scary in pics/movies I've seen. I've always wanted to ski in Chamonix, but not enough $$$ in the bank account or CC's to make it happen... Well, that and, now that I'm a bit older, my courage to ski such terrain has waned a little also, haha.

Thank you so much for the kind remarks. Amyandmark3, we took the gondola up. It really is breathtaking, and it still holds the record for fastest gondola-ascent to the top.
Here is a shot from the gondola, through plexiglass.

Some of the coolest aspects up there is that there are tiny people everywhere! In the pano you can make out a few small black dots on the right side. Here they are:

And here is another shot from the gondola on the way up.

Sunset was pretty nice last night so I fired many shots. Here is one of the many from the Diamond Head Beach. This place is nice for shooting sunsets during the winter. Too bad there is no snow.
