No pun intended by the title, but I am having some difficulty figuring out the best lightening for my dear old grandmother. I am doing her portrait for the family and most importantly for the newest edition of her great grandson.( my first cousin once removed...)
What is the best way to photograph so it minimizes wrinkles, enhances blue eyes and keeps the background from going monotone with her glorious silver/white hair?
At the moment I don't have a flash but I can get one and I think I can also rent some umbrella's and such for light softening, but I"d prefer to do it with the oncamera pop up flash if possible as my cheap student budget hinders my spending.
Thanks so much for any help!
