The camera is so feature rich and easy to use. I especially love the ability to set different picture styles. For example, in monochrome, you can even select the color filter to use.

It is easy to set exposure compensations, which I also like to do. I am always amazed at the variety of things that this camera can do. Amazing.

Also, the display indicates all of your settings, in easy to see fashion.

This picture was taken with a Canon Macro 50mm EF lens.

This little one was sitting on a wall. I took a couple photos, and then carefully got close to him for a couple more. 18-55 kit lens at 55mm. Cropped. Enjoy!

charliec, that last shot is great...love it! How tricky was it to meter for it?

Not terribly. I shot in RAW and exposed for the ceiling (which slightly overexposed the outside) and then pulled it back in Photoshop so the exterior was exposed correctly.

Kind of sloppy but I was just walking around with a group and was worried about getting plowed into from behind while I was stopped looking upwards. :)

Post processing is great for shots like that though...I'll post the original up when I get home so you can see the difference.

Hi , a shot to share.

I love this shot...very geometric and almost black and white, with the slight blue cast and red cross at the end of the tunnel. Very cool.

Here's the original...pretty big difference without the PP...you can see the light in the original that I missed part of in the PP'ed version...guess that's what I get for photoshopping on my lunch break :)

It is indeed a shame, removing a countries heritage to satisfy your own curiosity is just plain wrong. It also seems that some restoration jobs had caused more harm than good but as a(n ignorant) tourist I cannot recommend Athens highly enough. Especially when you have 360 degree views like this.

Beautiful...
The city and the islands have there own beauty....I would like to share that with my boys when they are older and can appreciate it. They way my parents did for me.
