Does anyone have any experience with Transcend CF cards? They seem to be much cheaper than equivalents from Sandisk, Lexar etc, so I was wondering whether they were worth it.

On Amazon, someone posted read and write speeds for Transcend and Sandisk. I would take a look: 40D | 20D converted IR | 17-40L | 24-70L | 70-200L 2.8 IS | 50 1.4 | 580EX II | flickr

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Nov 09, 2009 17:04 | #8 Card writing speed is important to people who do lots of bursts of shooting, or who have older cameras with small buffers. For general use I wouldnt double the cost of my card to increase the speed. A possible exception might be for the new generation of cameras with quicker write speeds, it might be nice to take advantage of that capability but still not critical to what I do.
