The whole series is good, but I really like these a lot. You should try landscapes more often!

I don't shoot landscapes pretty often, so it's pretty easy to find my best:

Thanks--given the time and the scenery, I definitely would. Alas, the world is generally less picturesque in the middle of the state.

Oh, I hope you don't mind, but this one reminds me so much of one of my first shot at our clouds here, I can't resist to show you. I know, it's a little off topic, but still... it's just funny! (I KNEW IT HAD A MEANING! You should've seen my mushed potatoes!)

I personally don't have a "best" landscape shot, yet, and hope the years still young enough to find one! (probably soon after I'll have gotten my wideangle lens!)

Derwent Water, Lake District, UK.

Shot on a 1DS2 using a TSE 24mm mkII. The rainbow was real and was amazingly vivid. I was so gobsmacked as it developed in front on me that I nearly forgot to take some pictures!

Not necessarily my favorite of the year, but I just finished editing it so it is fresh in my head. Early morning at the Grand Canyon is, obviously, an amazing time, yet I find myself going to the same place every time to shoot the sun rise... I guess it just so happens to be the one closest to the camp site, but it also is quite spectacular. Next time I go I will make sure to see it from another view point as I am fairly certain I have 5 shots in my Flickr stream from this exact location...

There is a lot of photoshop and lightroom edits to this photo. It was not a great photo out of the camera with blown highlights, lost detail in the shadows and exposed terribly wrong - In fact, it was just a simple test shot to figure out my numbers and what filter to use. As a challenge, I felt like trying to bring it back to life and I felt it came out ok.
