Here are a couple shots I took of a clean S13. This was during an open track day. The car was just chilling outside the pits in all its glory.

Let me know what you guys think! What could I do to make the shots better?

Shot with T1i / 70-200 f4L

The harsh light doesnt really help, maybe use a fill flash to compensate the shadows if possible, good angles and composition tho. the second one might be better if it was at a lower angle so the car would reflect more.

^ Yeah, I agree. The light is a bit harsh. The license plate also annoys me. Anyone know how I could remove it?

Thank for the feedback man.

Sometimes you get lucky and can clone it out but this would be pretty hard to do in this situation. the best way to remove it is with a wrench :)

That (black) car can look great in late light. See the links in my Sig, rethink your settings...

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/1600 second ===> 0.00063 second
# Lens F-Number / F-Stop = 56/10 ===> ƒ/5.6
# ISO Speed Ratings = 400

And...

Nitpicker! :D
And I just realized that it wasn't your car. The advice on "What could I do to make the shots better?" still applies, though.

I like it! I was the same way with my wheels, 17" Rota Subzero's in GUNMETAL. I would always argue that. :P

I think it would have looked cool if the reflection of your watermark was in the water... :cool:
