Hi everyone.

With the rubbish UK autumn now showing up I treated myself to some Flex tt's this month, so been having a play over the last few weeks with them. Well heres a few results, now there are selling really well & with a bit more time, hopefully perfect some technique.

So a bit of C&C welcome from you purists. Cheers

Interesting results. I quite like them. The mid air shots like #6 look almost 'staged' in a studio.

Cheers everyone, saw some stuff by an Adam Duckworth a while ago, thought this technique might keep sales going through winter. I prefer the motion shots better, but the riders seem to prefer the sharper images.

The flex tt's are brilliant, fragile but brilliant.

Thanks again for your comments, know i'm heading in the right direction..

nice shots. How far from your camera was the flash?

The speedlites are set, about 4m in front of the point where you think your rider will be & 4m behind. In some shots a third speedlite was on camera.

Images 11 & 7 were taken from the top of the next jump about 40m away with two speedlites in front.

#6 I really did like this one, with motion think it would have been better.

I really like #1, #3 and #11, they don't have that obvious flash look, just look well lit. I think they look great!

Cheers Dave, #1 was a bit of a luck one.. I knocked the group setting on one flex, the one behind (as in photo) never fired.

Cheers, can't wait for some stormy days, hopefully with some moody skies, should make them even more dramatic.

Thanks

Great shots, one and six get my vote too. I take it they are taken at Washbrook Farm?
