Well done. Eagles always seem to have such an intense expression.

How true! Their expression is a bit like " If you think you're man enough, bring it on!"
Great shots BTW. :)

Beautiful images. Good detail in the feathers. What were they doing on the ground? Is this at a zoo? Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to know where this was at as well. I'm guessing the OKC zoo, that one is a good poser, but if it is a wild one I'd love to take some too.

Candy where are you at in NE Oklahoma? I'm from Tishomingo, but checking out the Whoopers around the Salt Plains NWR today and tomorrow (and last weekend too).

Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L

Bill, My family and I live near the shores of Grand Lake of the Cherokees. Last winter we went down around Heavner to get eagle pics, but none as close as in this post.;) I have a friend in Jay, OK (she shoots Noink) who routinely gets eagle shots near her home like the OP.
