thanks to everyone for the nice feedback!
As for damage - I haven't had a chance to get out and around since then - skies are still gray and everything is damp. I don't think we had too much bad stuff here, but I have a friend at Bethany Beach who says their erosion control dune is pretty much history.

Excellent shot, a wall hanger for sure. I think it might be improved by the removal of the rock in the right foreground just leaving the tapering bank
