Bag Advice: XS kit + nifty 50

Hey folks,

I'm pretty new around here - looking for advice for a cheap bag for a Canon XS with kit lens and nifty 50. It might be nice to have a little room to grow, but I don't plan on adding much gear anytime soon (famous last words right?). ...maybe a flash?

I was looking at the Versa Bags (Crumpler clones):

Would the small size (5MDH clone??) do the trick well? Any other suggestions? Preferably under $40 or $50...

Thanks!
Jeff

Oh, I thought it went small/5MDH, medium 6MDH, and large 7MDH. Doh...

Maybe a Domke F-5XB - but those are a little more than I wanted to spend...

Try taking a look at the Tamrac Adventure Messenger 4

or its clone Express 7

They'll both fit a 70-200 F4/70-300 IS/580EX easily. Both under $50 on Amazon.

I might be selling my 5MDH...again. I'll let you know tonight. They are good bags but the Versa bags are hard to get in America. That site has been sold out for awhile.

The 5MDH is a great small bag. I really love mine. If you want expansion get the 6MDH. Clones are good too if you are looking to save cash.

Thanks for the tips and the info, guys. The Tamrac bags mentioned look nice... though I'd save $20 or so getting one of the Versa bags...They have small/med/large here: http://www.datavis.com …cgrfnbr=1644&an=6&av=1049 (external link) Large is probably too big right? I guess I can wait for the mediums to come back in stock.

Hey _aravena - did you decide if you wanted to sell your 5MDH?

Thanks,
Jeff

No, I'm holding onto it. It just compliments the 7MDH so well and I'm not sure if I will sell it. I may or may not still but I can't do it just yet.
