Camera is great. No issue with rear wheel if held in leaf hand with a C grip and fired right.

AWB is better than normal Canon (not the standard indoor orange hue)

ISO 80-400 is great for APC. 600-1600 is ok with PP.

-1/3 EC is about right for outdoor shots in manual mode. (my best results)

Evaluative Meter is great and iContast works well. Blown highlights are easy to deal with in PP.

Macro is fine for APC.

Truely a pocket cam. Hurry Adobe and give the RAW convert update.

Great shots - thanks for sharing! Are these camera jpegs or converted raw files? If raw, care to share your current workflow?

Thanks

PS auto sets
manual Shadow / Highlights (use eyeball meter to my tastes)
add filter if needed
resize
sharping if needed
noise reduction if needed

5 minutes per photo max

I mostly shoot f2 or f5.6

Blown highlight recover well without too much blown shadows. Musician pic background (building) was blown out intentionally and recovered well. Musicians edge around his head shows slight purple fringe. Pixel peepers would have issue with this shot. I intentionally shot it with sun at wrong angle to expose perfect.

Overhead plane shot had blown sky, but a little S/H and slight blue filter fixed that. It caught plane perfect.

Camera shoots Hand held Macros well for not having to fill flash. Gets a nice soft feel.

AWB does not have the usual Canon orange cast indoors under incandescent.

Most of these photos were test to push the camera to see what it could or couldn't do.

These would print 17x22 real well.

Best outdoor setting for camera I've found.

M
-1/3 ec
AWB
Positive Film
Evaluative metering
iContrast on

I use a "C" grip with left hand around frame. I use right hand finger for shutter. This grip has no issue with rear wheel. The night shots were resting on flat surfaces (rails or light post sides). I also use a small 5" table top tripod folded straight and held in left hand like movie camera. (quick release, pocketable, works like study cam)
