Someone hold my hand and tell me it will be ok. I just ordered a refurb model from Adorama with a 16 gb card and extra battery. I plan on selling my 17-55 2.8 and sigma 30mm 1.4 to offset the cost. I want positive peer pressure for my decision, LOL.

Where exactly is the trigger on the 5D2? I've been looking on mine, but can't find it. Do you mean the shutter button?

;-)a

Seriously, enjoy it. It's a great camera and you will really dig it. Nothing to be nervous about at all. It's a lot of money, but when you see the shots you get out of it, that tends to fade away pretty quickly. Because of that, it's important to shoot with it a lot, to keep the money out of your head.

Congrats!!!

I almost did the same, then decided if I went with a 7D that I could keep my 40D.

Thanks for wiping the tears away. I paid $2399 through adorama and $67 for another battery. Then I ordered the Phottix grip on ebay for about $100

Aside from nervous anticipation I hope my 24-105 will get me through some paid shoots until I make enough scratch for the 24-70, lol.

I just picked up the camera myself. Trust me you will love it. Not to start another debate but I will be forever a FF guy. My 50D will always have a place but my main camera will my FF for now on.

I think you made a BIG mistake.

You could have bought a bunch
of disposables, for a lot less.

I mean get real:

What do you want?

Do you want our approval?

You made a purchase.

Congratulations on buying a roll of toilet paper.
Now, do you feel better about yourself?

jealousy.
