Also just how big is that standard deviation in your poll, and just how was the polled sample selected?

Wayne

The propensity of certain members to post the same old **** over and over indicates they could be 'bots that are programmed to auto-respond to certain keywords in thread titles.

So it your hypothesis that ether Joseph Weizenbaum's ELIZA or Kenneth Colby's PARRY are members of POTN? Perhaps we should subject members to a Touring Test.

Funny, been tracking which members are not part of an elaborate Turing test for quite a while. I've got doubts about some of the folks on here.

I've met 4 POTN'ers face to face so I'm sure they're real people, the rest of you I'm not convinced about.

Then again, they could have been actors hired to help conceal the plot...

Well crap, I never thought of that.

What about this 'Finland' place where the site owner 'Pekka' supposedly lives. Anyone ever been there? I mean its on Google maps, but that could all be made up. They probably just used photoshop to clone bits of eastern Europe and then made up a bunch of place names. 'Hellsinki' Really? We are supposed to be convinced that there is really a place called 'Hellsinki' '?'

Well really, do you think it would sound right as Hellfloati?

I tried to go there once. They told me the flight was booked and it was closed.....

A Hellsinki is a device that you attach to a moral action so that, should all hell break lose, you don't fry the circuitry

and I'm a punbot so I was programmed to say that

"Finland" is just a pun to throw us off the track. So is Hell "sinky". Fins? Sinky? Hello?! Pekka's actually a hyper-intelligent dolphin, they're learning about human culture in advance of their invasion force arriving to take over and rule the earth.

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome our new aquatic masters, and assure them that i'll happily throw them a fish every now and then, rub their bellies, and support the movement to ban drift-net fishing.
