A few months ago, I came across an article in WIRED magazine that had an Abilene, Texas byline. It was about Bruce Townsley, who had bought a decommissioned Atlas-F missile silo near Oplin, TX and converted it into a comfortable living space. A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to head out to his silo to take some pictures and do a write-up for the local paper. You can see more of the pics, and links to the story on my photoblog.
