NO question about that shot! Don't know when I've seen better.

My new 1D3 was stolen 2 weeks ago, so I think I'm gonna move to the 1D MKIV. The 1D3 was a so nice camera, I hope the next one to be as good or better.

Nice shot, these little hands always touch you, so to speak.

Maybe the picture is just a little dark? (Could be my laptop screen though, it's running on batteries at the moment, so maybe a bit dimmer than usual)

Am contemplating if I should replace my 1DIII with 1DsIII (just prefer how my lenses appear the way they should be) but a little sceptical on the high ISO performance of the 1DsIII. Heard it's not as good as the 1DIII and that it's optimized for low ISO (studio) usage. I do wedding, PJ and bit of studio work.

Any one has handled both?

I have both and use both, for sports and fast actions wildlife and so i always use 1DIII even 1DsIII can be used sometimes, and for landscapes, portraits, wedding, outdoor urban,.... i always use 1DsIII even 1DIII can be used, and i never worry about high ISO in any camera even 10D or older, just use camera as you can and watch your exposure and you will be fine always.

I'll tell you, I've been shooting the 1DM3 along with the 5D Classic and couldn't be happier. I've no compunction to upgrade eithe oner, so you must be very happy with the 1DM3 and the 5D2. You are allowed to value what you have!

I just got my 1D Mark III (and still have my 5D Classic for the time being) and I can see myself really liking this body. I wasn't sure which I'd keep, and I'll have both for a while, but I can see myself keeping the 1DIII over the 5D now. I have to shoot more and see how the IQ compares between the 2. Looking forward to some activity on this thread.

I did notice that this thread definitely does not get nearly as much activity as the 5D Classic thread.

Not nearly as much off topic in this one.
