Haha, that reminds me of a friend of mine who went down on one knee to propose to his gf, but she also went down on her knees cause she thought he wanted to talk to her while kneeling for no apparent reason. :p

Interesting composition on the orange juice jugs! ;)

I guess you half fill them with water to stop the wind from blowing them away until its time to take them back for a bottle deposit?

Not bad for a rainy day I suppose!

Cheers!

Manish you still loving the MkII I guess?

I'm not talkin' to you anymore......you're not nice. :( Nah, just playin', Eli.

As for the outer point focus, I can't say it enough, it's much better than the 5D. Plus the fact you can select multiple points ( 1 or 2 at a time) when using the outer points. It's really a nice AF system, as compared to the 5D.

I would not have kept it as long as I have, if I didn't like it. There's still lots I have to learn about the camera, but, all in all it's impressive, massive, and gets the job done right.

Apologies for the delayed response, but, I've been away from home just havin' a good time on my break from 'reality.' ;)

Hi all. :)

Nice shots posted...and yes, weather is no longer a concern, with a sealed lens. ;)

Welcome back, Manish! We missed you! ;)

More cold weather indoor fun and games...with the 100L and 580 EXII flash and a dash of Photoshop for good measure! :D

Yup! Definitely nice to get away!

I should do that too but am budgeting very close to the vest these days...though oddly, I always seem to come up with the cash for another piece of gear! :o

Cheers!

haha, I hear ya. ;) At least that's an investment that holds it's value, for the most part. ;)

Was a fun trip, got a few decent pics, and basically enjoyed the time away from work/home/etc.

There is a cold weather here too, I have a lot of work to do beside photography, and a lot of thing I shoot recently just have to wait until I have more time. so, just this one I had to do for my Christmas card:

I'd say lots of heavy dumbbell lateral raises.

Great shot! :D

I'd say the use of a large black blanket, a few riser boxes, a nice -4 stop exposure and a flash fill at -2!

Was I close? ;)

Cheers!

I'll go with Jeff, on this one. Risers, black bg, main light on camera right, and a bunch of fun. ;)

I'd say the argyle sweater vest gave him super human strength... He's also channeling/transferring his super human strength to his lads by means of sweater vest attire... Hehehhehehee... Hey everyone... Sorry I've been MIA on this thread... To make up for it, I'll post pics from my recent holiday travels... Good to be back...
