Okay I haven't uploaded the calendar but here are the photos for it. I hope you guys don't hate it. I have the correct copyright info on the photos themselves as well as a note in the gallery. But I have my watermark on them as a safeguard.

And I figured it was safest in case folks in here swung either way.

I'm out for a minute. The dogs need a walk.

LOL! I put K on the cover. I couldn't help it. It's my goofy addition to the whole thing. But since I haven't uploaded anything yet, I'm not sure what else I'll need. I just have the cover and 12 months. I'm hoping to be able to add some text somewhere explaining it.

Ok, I know you all probably get sick of all my stories, but I'm going to share another one anyway.

Remember the nutso shelter lady who wouldn't let us take any 'good' dogs from her overflowing shelter?

We ended up taking the old border collie with the tooth abscess. Because we couldn't leave her there with a swollen mouth, knowing that they weren't going to do anything about it, just leave her in pain.

Her foster mom took her to the vet the following day (she has an AWESOME foster mom who is willing to keep her till the end of her days if necessary).

The vet looked her over, and she didn't have a tooth abscess. But her mouth was very bruised, and the blood on her gums needed to be cleaned off. Her teeth all looked really good.

She was matted pretty badly, so they had to shave her more than normal to see if she'd been spayed before, and she was literally covered in awful bruises. Doc said her whole side was almost black.
They did some blood tests on her, and she is completely healthy.

Did some more looking and shaving and gave her a really good exam and concluded that she had been severely beaten/kicked/abused.
Her mouth was that way from being hit.

The shelter told us that she was deaf.

She's not. That was also a result of her being beaten. And she is hearing fine now.

Peggy reports that Sasha is one of the sweetest most loving dogs she's ever fostered, and is healing quickly. She is doing amazingly well for an old gal. Doc said she's probably around 10 years old.

I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that we took Sasha from the shelter. And I hate to think of what she went through before ending up at the shelter as a stray.

Many tears were shed for Sasha, but the tears that we cry for her now are happy ones. She's home.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww I cried... (but I needed a good cry today anyway)

I will share my dog shower story then. I have been bringing the zoedot into the bathroom when I shower to keep an eye on her and so she doesn't feel left behind. When I get out she likes to lick the water off my toes and it is the softest little feeling:lol::lol:

Awwwwwwwww Cooper thinks its his job to dry me off... with his tongue... he follows me around trying to like the water off my legs and feet

Due to lack of hands, Sid and you must abstain from the voting. Mind you, it was unanimous in favour of more stories, for sure.

I'm so conflicted.

Normally I would root for the beavers but I really want the ducks to go to the Rose Bowl. I don't know if they ever have been. I think the beav's have.
