I got a job when I was 14 so I could buy a car. It was sitting in the driveway for about 2 months before my birthday.

Beautiful shot, Bobert!

Thanks Paula :D

Skrim17 wrote in post #9131464 (external link)
Bobert are you guys still contemplating selling your house?

We haven't talked about it too much since I mentioned it. But it all really depends on several factors and which way they go.
Wife wants to go part time with her company next year sometime which means a 40% pay cut, but she is also expecting a promotion by april.....however, her company is re-aligning again and she may get a new boss. If she does, it is highly likely that she may not get the promotion because new boss would have to rate her performance and it would be hard with only 3 months of working together. I really don't want to move...and don't like it to either, but we'll see what happens. Mr. President was supposed to sign in a 2% pay increase for us fed gov workers by the end of November, but I don't even know if he finalized it....have to check...really wish it were 3% like years past or more even.

Are you moving to Vegas, are you, huh.

I'd go broke if I did.

I do some of my best work at lunch.....still.

Hey...me too!

Raise your hand now if you are tired of Cat's stories!!!

*looks around the room*

CAT no hands are raised so story away anytime.

So very sad on the abuse so very, very good on the recovery and the love the old gal is getting. There is a reason you chose H.A.R.T. for a name, you and all the fosters have some of the biggest hearts I know.

Awww, thanks Becky. *sniff*

Sorry Crissa, but this had me laughing pretty hard at your antics. You are a strange one (ok, who isn't), one minute tough as nails, the next a wee girlie (kinda like Robert :p).

:lol:You are cracking me up. What kinda bug and what does a bug piddle look like?

All of this had me in hysterical laughter. LOL!

Okay I haven't uploaded the calendar but here are the photos for it. I hope you guys don't hate it. I have the correct copyright info on the photos themselves as well as a note in the gallery. But I have my watermark on them as a safeguard.

Oooo, I ordered a photo a bit ago....it's going to be printed on metal like in this LINK (external link) at smuggy.

And it's going to be this photo in 16x16

That is a GREAT shot! And will be outdated very soon. :p

We get giant roaches occasionally, and Lois beats them to death with a toilet plunger, then calls me in to clean up the carnage.

*shudder* Roaches are the only bug/thing that can freak me the freak out. I can pick up a spider, hold a snake and let it wrap around my hand, most creepy crawlies don't bother me too bad... but roaches... roaches are the most horrid things ever.
If I'm alone and see one in the house, I will suck it up with the vacuum (doing the all over heebie jeebies the whole time.. and if I actually FEEL it go up the tube past my hand I will FREAK THE FREAK OUT), then put the vacuum outside till Wade gets home.

Yeah, it's bad.

that is pretty much how I feel about any bug, tho I do have a special hatred for roaches. I don't think this was a roach.

I was in trouble so my parents wouldn't sign for a drivers license. I had some sort of job as long as I can remember and hustled however I could so I was able to buy an old Honda 350cc four cylinder that looked like something out of Mad Max. I went through a few bikes and got a loan for a pick up truck when I turned 18. It was a 1976 ford f-150 XLT Lariat. It was a real gem to someone when they got it off the showroom floor a decade before I owned it. What I liked was the 460cc engine:D voom voom.

You looked a little faint at the get together when I offered you the giant rubber roach.

Before this neither had I, but the park was crawling with them. This guy was a little ham.

We're in for a huge blizzard tonight. Gonna leave for work 3 hours early.

Also, my mom bought an iMac tonight. She bought me a printer to make up for the fact that she got herself the one thing I've been dying to have.

Yepppp. Hanyways...

Meow.
