pushing the 7D... and getting lucky

this was shot with the 7D 100/400...

SS 1/13th
f 5.6
ISO 3200
@ 400mm
remote shutter

with tripod

I have better ones, with flash... but just thougth this was cool at 1/13th and 3200.....

It really is amazing what this camera can do at high ISO -- in skilled hands, of course. Outstanding work, Steve.

I agree I've been stunned at the 3200 Images on my 7D miles better than the max 1600 on the 350D :)

Same here, but xsi for me... When I took a photo at 1600... it was painfull to look at it...

awesome ! , 3200 ! whoa , i shoot a lot at 1600-3200 on my 50D , but very much disappointed , 7D seems great at high iso
