Wanted to play with lighting last night but nobody in the house wanted to pose for me... So I tried some self portraits. I found it to be quite a bit harder than I anticipated. Primarily with getting the focus spot on. Any tricks to share?

hook up your slr to your laptop and put the laptop up on a stool next to you and make sure it doesnt show up in the frame!! all you really need to do is manage the settings and the focus from the remote settings via your laptop after you've manually set the zoom!! pretty simple really

This is me, exhausted after a rough finals week here at Central Michigan University. Hair still looks like it did when i woke up that morning and my beard is getting a little out of control. I let my self go in the pursuit to study which involved no sleep for a couple days.... Man i need a haircut and to trim my beard.
