The printer that I ordered showed up three days after I placed the order, the lens is on backorder, but the cash back for both showed up on bing in about 24 hours after purchase.

It took 7 days to get my email notification that I got $80 cash back for my S90. I was about to email them too.

I'm still a little worried that everything isn't going to work out. I ordered a 5DMKII kit on 11/28. The Bing cashback is pending which is good but I'm worried that they are just going to cancel my order.

DELL has not charged my credit card yet and my order status is still "In Production" with an estimated delivery date of 12/16. I was going to call until I read about someone in this thread getting there order cancelled when talking to a DELL rep because the 5DMKII has been back ordered.

Who's been getting there kits in the mail?

Same here. I ordered on 11/27 and my 5D kit is still "On Production" status. 12/17 is still the delivery date...Its clear that Dell don't actually have this "in stock" like they claim on their website when I ordered it. Seems that they have to order it / drop ship from Canon.

What I hope is that Canon has enough 5D Kit on hand to actually deliver. With the 5D shortage earlier this year, I dunno about them being able to deliver. I hope Canon have fixed their availability issue......and I certainly hope that Dell is NOT going to cancel the order without giving me a choice!

It was a promotion that ended on the 7th I believe. Dell is 5% now.

I guess the 20% BCB for DELL.COM is over. Even WALMART had 20% BCB but now it is down to 10%.

Well, FedEx showed up today with a 70-200 2.8L replacement from DELL. I still have no return label for the first one, not in the box either! So, this lens also has some dust inside. Is this just normal for this lens? This one is considerably better than the first one they sent though...the dust in the first one had one pretty large spec that was just too annoying for me to know it was there. I hope this exchange doesn't mess up my BING 20% back. I'll post an update to let you know if I get charged a restocking fee, etc..
Thanks K6AZ :) & 5D2USER

5Dii kit and 70-200 f4L IS. 70-200 was delivered 2 days after the order was placed and the whole order on Dell says in production or whatever. I don't think there will be any problems getting the 5Dii, just may take a little while.

There shouldn't be ANY dust inside the lens, but it does happen with non-sealed lenses sometimes...I got a 85LmkII a couple years ago that had specs, sent it back to B&H and they sent me another...No dust in the second one. I never really know how long I'm gonna keep a lens so re-sale value is important to me....Dust will significantly reduce the value.
:)
Good luck Kelly
