Well, I gave it to my cousin actually. He is still shooting with it and making awesome imagery. I still get visitation rights. haha.

I do miss it though; more than any other camera I'd had.

You've got quite the line up too!

I should have never sold my other 10d..It had less than 5k clicks, no marks at all. Oh well, at least I have my beat up one :)

I had my first 10D converted to Deep B&W Infrared. (had just bought the 2nd one, a refurb, shutter went on the first. decided to get it fixed then convert to IR and bought my 5D while it was being repaired)

Have been looking at LifePixel.com and their new "Super Color Infrared" and "was" seriously considering having my 2nd 10D converted but now with all this nostalgia about the 10D I am having doubts I should do that.

 Decisions, decisions!!!

Well, not awesome imagery, but that's my fault and not the cameras'. :o

Unfortunately, we're half way around the world so visitation rights is a little hard.

I still love the the camera. :)

Brett, I think you need to get yourself a cheap 10d to satisfy your red channel needs! lol

It's very tempting. If it were FF, I'd do it in a minute.

The custom picture style will help for jpegs and histogram chimping, but the RAW file will remain unchanged. Trust me, I've tried everything to try and get 10D colours out of other cameras. Nothing can do it quite right.

If I convert the RAW in DPP, the picture style is applied, though. I know what you mean, though, I've played with the red channel ever since I got my 5D and never been able to get red handled the way I've seen with the 10D. With a lot of curves tweaking on the red channel, the results are decent, but I want 5D firmware that processes red the way the 10D does. :)

I'm glad that the 10D is working out for you.

It was hard letting the 10D go, but I couldnt really justify owning two crop bodies for what I do...

I found that the 10D coupled with the Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 MF produced some spectacular shots (top photo is with the Rok at f/2), but the smaller veiwfinder image of the 10D made the Rok a chore to focus (once again top photo with missed focus point)...even with a split prism focus screen.

Also, the 70-200 f/4 L worked extremely well for me on the 10D.
