AWWW...so cute!! Love the eyes and expression in second pic,the last one is adorable too. It would be good to see a little more light in the first and last ones.

Is there anything I could have done about the last one?

It was somewhat bright outside, and I believe we just had some indoor lights on. It looks underexposed, but increasing it ends up with very blown out parts... :(

The first was taking a little more candidly, and it was very cloudy outside as I recall...

just adding some supplemental light facing the backs of the dogs or increase a bit in PP.

Nice shots. Gotta love that nifty 50. I really like the last shot. I'm a big fan of "looking out the door shots". It does look a bit underexposed. I'd play around with it a bit -- maybe increase the saturation just a tinge -- or convert it to B&W with some nice contrast.
