Great series. Poor sleepy little owl in photo #1 is precious.

I think you were right where I got my shots of the owls! Pretty neat, aren't they?? Great shots!

These have to be some of the easiest wildlife to observe that I have found. The city of Cape Coral has adopted the little guys and issues a map to where all of the colonies are located. The burrows have short fences placed around them in a 20ft radius to protect the birds and a perch is placed at the hole. There were colonies around every city building that I saw. I also saw multi-million dollar homes with the front lawn full of owl colonies. Hats off to the residents of Cape Coral for their care of the owls.

The first was a mid-blink shot.
