14 Month Old - Holiday Session

Now that its cold outside I have to bring my session in doors, I think I need more work with the studio type sessions. but here's what I got.

All taken with my 24-70 at 2.8 and bounced flash and ISO 400

Editing was simple stuff done in ACR and the normal levels / curves and occasionally fixing the backgrounds.

i like the last pic. however, all of the pics looks overexposed to me.

Looks like your flash is too high, all are a bit too overexposed. The last ones are the best, I feel, though the exposure can easly be corrected in RAW. Take it down a stop or two and you've got some winners.

What kind of surface is she sitting on in #3 to cause the reflection? I like that!

I agree! Very great shots, just over exposed. Take them down a stop or 2 in RAW, and these are money makers

thanks everyone I will do that, I tend to like brighter images but I agree these are probably too bright, funny thing is none of them show blown highlights on the skin or the dress, just blown red channels. I don't get it. And yeah I dont' really know how to use my flash, this is a task for winter months for sure!!
