A friend lent me a Nikon Speedlite SB-600. I have a Canon 50D. Will it work on my Camera? Is there any attachment I could use to make it work?

(I tried to search for this question already but found nothin)

TIA!

Great! Isn't it wonderful to be able to create light? Wait till you get a grasp on controlling it.

hmm, that's cool. I tried an old minolta flash and it didnt work, but I think the pins were RIGHT between where the contacts on Canon's hotshoe are.

which minolta flash. Some of them have the reverse shoe and will not even fit on a traditional hotshoe mount.
