I like the shot.

The large version has a lot of noise though. I also wish there was some foreground interest in the shot.

That said, the sky really looks great.

Cheers for your comments the fg is a lava field so little chance of fg interest.

Thank you - with that low sun and a fg of a lava field it was already a weird scene to look at and I used the fish eye to exaggerate the weirdness of that scene.

Overwhelming detail, really! Really nice, but the sharpening seems to be pushed a bit over the edge (haha, no pun intended, but a happy accident!). First glance, though, omg....Wonderful shot!


Canon 500D, Sigma 18-250mm & no clue how to make the best of either, yet! :oops:
