SCRATCHES on the 5d body HELP!!

anyone know how to fix the scratches on my 5d classic body? below is a pic of the battle scars.

perhaps the below might work?:

sharpie
Birchwood Casey Super Black instant touch-up pen
hobby paint

looking for your thoughts, opinions, solutions, etc.

Battle scars are cool. I say leave them. Or any of the above remedies will help to alleviate the unsightly scratches.

Do you want to look like a cool action photographer or not? I'd keep the scars. Always conversation starters.

I agree, leave it as it its. shows how much you actually USE your camera :)

I bet you could photoshop that right out in seconds :)

Paint would leave a ridge. Sharpies would be better .. and all you need to do is take your eye away from the lighter colour.

no matter what you put on there it wont look right unless you replace that piece

It doesn't affect photos or the operation of the camera, so my suggestion is spend the time using it instead of wondering how to make the tool look better.... :rolleyes:

As long as it shoots straight, who cares about the scratches? All that matters are the pictures! However if you are insistant on trying I would use a commercial perm. marker.

black sharpie will help a little, but the black tends to turn a little purple after a while. Not a big deal and it would probably make it less visible. I wouldn't worry about it though.
