Wow, that's a lot of glass. Which lens are you loving the most, Jon?

The new one? Congrats. I've been looking at that lens. Tell us if it's wonderful.

The wife and kids never know what to get me so I always end up printing out all the info and send them on their way to the store.
This year I'm getting a 36"x48" softbox.
LOL, I really wanted two but I can't push my luck.

It's a toss up between 85 and 35...if the 85 were fast like the 1.8 version, no contest :D

For Christmas I bought myself a 50D and a 580 EX II. I love that flash. Before the 50D/580 EX II I was shooting with an xT / Cheap Quantaray flash, and this combo makes the world of difference. Best Christmas gift to myself ever.

Add a Cotton Carrier to this list, should arrive today.

It's an L, so there's a lens hood and bag in there. :{)#

Canon gives the weight as 36 oz. and change. So it's over 2 lb. - sound about right for what you're feeling?

Wow, I forgot about the bag and hood, but still, hunk of glass is right. I'm going to try out Jim's sometime. I'm afraid to touch it, for fear I will want one. :)
