Thanks for all the kind words! We were so lucky to be there and even luckier to capture this shot.

K-mount, even though we were a little far away I felt my spine tingle a bit looking at the leopard through the lens. Whether it was fear or just recognition of the moment, I'm not sure.

Andrushka, unfortunately yes -- the full remaining image is 75% of the original on each side. But at least we started out with an 18MP image to begin with so final image is still pretty good.

CLLOFF, you had better be wrong! I can see why you might not be, but still my wallet hopes you are wrong!

That is one fantastic shot.. The fur detail is amazing.... and of course the eyes have it!
